Book Review: The 5 AM CLUB BY Robin Sharma

I am going to talk to you through the book the 5-am club by Robin Sharma and if you have been wanting to buy this book for a long time then you would know that there are mixed reviews about this book everywhere on the internet.  People who like it, have mixed reactions to this book. So you wouldn't really know if what should you really expect from the book because a lot of people are saying that this book is life-changing and then on the other hand there are people who are saying that this is basically just the idea of waking up at 5:00 a.m. which has been stretched too far that they have made a book out of it.

So I am going to tell you about this book as honestly as I can, I actually love this book a lot and I think that this book is life-changing it has the capability to change your lifestyle to a great extent only if you are willing to do that. If you are willing to actually bring change to your life then this book can do that. 60% of the book is devoted to developing meaning and a purpose in your life that why you should wake up at 5:00 a.m.

I think that is a very integral part of this book so this book tells you that our society has given you a narrative where they ask you to live a very ordinary life, where they tell you that you are average and that you are not meant to do great things. A very few people amongst us think that they are great and they are born to do great things most of us think that we are average people and that we are going to live an ordinary life because that is the common thing that most of us do, what the society wants us to do. They want us to live a life that everyone lives and they do not promote something greater than that they cannot accept the fact that a person can get higher than the standard that the society has set for them so this narrative is something that we have consumed right after our birth and this has built a mentality in a way where we cannot really think that we can do anything greater and we spend most of the life has no purpose at all.

We think, the only purpose that we have is to settle down and have a normal life. This book tells you that there is a hero inside you and you should believe in your heroism only then you are going to achieve great heights in life.

There are some paragraphs, and the sentence is so beautiful and impactful that you cannot stop yourself from underlining it so you can reread it. The rest of the 40% of the book is devoted to these models and frameworks that you need to follow, and you cannot just wake up at 5 a.m. and not do anything you should have a plan. You should follow that plan so that the beginning of your day is perfect so that the entire day goes by in a very smooth and productive way.

There is a 20-20-20 model which basically divides the victory hours of 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. into 3 parts of 20 minutes each. In the first 20 minutes you basically work out and do something that makes you sweat, in the next 20 minutes you meditate and Journal something with which you can reflect on to your emotions and take care of your mental health and the last 20 minutes is all about growing yourself into a better person and that you can do by reading some good book or you can do it by listening to an audiobook something that will make you grow as a person. You can also listen to a podcast and with these three things, you can actually start your day on a very good note so that the entire day goes in a very smooth and productive way.

I think reading this book has been extremely useful to me I have been making a bit 5 am ever since I started reading this book. The only part that I can say is not very perfect about this book is the last 20% of the book so I think 80% of the book is absolutely perfect I think the last 20% of the book felt a little stretch like it was not necessary but I think it's okay.  I think 80% of the book is really great. 

This book is written in a way that there is a fiction story used to tell you different lessons and guide you so I think most of the problems that people face have been addressed in this book which is really great. I think you should definitely read this book. 

This book is going to add some real value in your life and I think this is one of the best self-help books ever. Robin Sharma is a very experienced person he has written many grade books. He took four years to write this book and he has put in a lot of effort and research in this book so it's not something that is very shallow and that is written just for the sake of it.  I think there is a lot of work and dedication that Robin Sharma has put into writing this book and you should definitely read this book at least once.
